Concern for the environment

At Van der Heijden Nederland Verpakkingen BV, we obviously take the environment into account when developing and producing our packaging materials. We only process materials that can be recycled or processed into another product, for example. We are not only legally obliged to do this, it is definitely a part of our vision.

What happens to our waste?

o Polystyrene foam (EPS) is ground into PS granulate that is reused in technical products.

o Polyurethane foam (polyether and polyester) is processed into a recycled foam (polypress) and is therefore extremely suitable for sound insulation and packaging of extremely heavy products.

o Polyethylene (PE) is a durable plastic, because it is processed into a base material (granulate) and can therefore be reused.

o Cardboard is disposed with the paper stream for recycling.
